BLU-50 London No power repair.
A customer brought in a signal processor model number BLU-50. This unit is a rather expensive piece of equipment, retails for over $1000. Anyways this unit would not show any signs of power. Once we opened it up we noticed capacitor C24 was blown and diode D38 was scolding hot 🔥. I went ahead and changed out C24 with an exact match 25v 470uF and still no power. Then I decided to also chang out D38 with a schotty diode 20v 1A.
The unit was reborn. Looks like this unit will live on and process more signal. 😆 🤣
